Hello! I am Larissa Machado a business driven creative mind currently working as Creative Director of Streaming, Titles and Cross Media LatAm within the Creative Services team at Warner Bros. Discovery. The team is responsible for unfolding all in-house campaigns across our portfolio of linear channels, streaming services and social media.

I began my career in Vitória, a medium size capital in the southeast coast in Brazil, as an advertising director and also part of a trio and later production company called Mirabolica. Together with Rodrigo Linhales and Tatiana Rabelo and also solo, I had the chance to produce and direct films for the local advertising market, develop awarded short films and create video art installations. 

In 2002, I went to London for an MA in audiovisual and then pursued and started my career on television. When I came back to Brazil, I was invited to develop some projects for Canal Futura, an educational project and a linear channel from the major Brazilian media company Globo. Where one could see restrictions I saw an opportunity to discover new realities in Brazil, to have a purposeful work and also develop high end audiovisual projects.  But most of all, to make a diference. 

I then went to work for Discovery from 2012 to 2019, first as a creative producer and copywriter and later as branded content manager, when I had the opportunity to work not only with Discovery's full portfolio but also with major brands like Santander, Petrobras, Volkswagen and Coca Cola. 

In 2020, I started my journey at Turner as senior manager of Content Partnerships, the area was responsible for all branded content and brand integration across the portfolio. From senior manager I became head of the team and then director. Also, Turner became WarnerMedia and then Warner Bros. Discovery and I took a new role in the Creative Services Latam team, reuniting with two old passions: creative direction and the Discovery portfolio.

To sum it up, I am completely passionate about ideas in motion with broad communication skills with the ability to work and effectively manage a variety of people and wide production expertises from a myriad of experiences, ranging from script and copywriting, directing and producing documentaries and promo projects and developing branded content series. Skilled with a comprehensive strategic vision to design, develop, produce and manage multi-platform content and creative projects from the ideation to the  delivery with vast knowledge of the tools, techniques and professionals available in the market.
